Wavelight Plus is a bladeless LASIK procedure that uses ray-tracing to design your treatment from a 3D digital model of your entire eye — captured by the InnovEyes™ Sightmap — rather than from the surface of the cornea alone. The result is a fully personalized correction.
How is it different from standard LASIK?
Standard LASIK treats the cornea. Ray-tracing maps and corrects based on a model of your whole eye’s optical system, so the plan accounts for how light actually travels through your eye — for a more customized result.
Am I a candidate?
LASIK is generally for adults 18 and older with a stable prescription and healthy eyes; Wavelight Plus treats nearsightedness from -1.00 to -8.00 D with astigmatism up to 3.00 D. If your prescription is higher than that range, your corneas are thin, or you have presbyopia or early lens changes, another procedure such as EVO ICL or lens replacement may suit you better — our 60-second check and your consult will help confirm.
